Great hotel, rattling windows on top floor which need fixed. Apart from that, can't fault it. Location great and parking (ncp) just round the corner.

I came up for Christmas party. Room was good, just dropped my back and went for the meal, train at 05:55, loved it. Check in was great, told me where I needed to go for a belt, I went to m&S . Didn't sort my bagged breakfast out but it was early so let them off

Absolutely terrible experience at the Aberdeen Douglas Hotel. The room was dirty, with underwear from previous guests left in a drawer—clearly, cleaning is not a priority here. The heating didn’t work, leaving the room cold and uncomfortable, and the water pressure in the bathroom was terrible. On top of that, the walls are paper-thin, so you hear everything from neighboring rooms and the street. The service was equally bad. Reception staff were unprofessional and even laughed at guests when concerns were raised. The location is inconvenient, and the car park is unsafe, poorly maintained, and the hotel takes no responsibility for damages. To make it worse, they charge £7 per night for parking. Avoid this place at all costs—one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at.

To be honest, service was patchy. Reception was a hit or miss depending on who was in, and often waiting for them to come out from their back office. Housekeeping not great...on arrival the desk chair was missing and stayed two day, second day the only emptied the bin and cleaned a cup..no bother with the bed and no top up of the coffee, no information book, maybe they don't do them, but had to keep asking reception times, menus, etc. The restaurant for food and service was great, given them a separate review.

Ottimo! Qualità di camere discreta e servizi generali buoni! Posizione praticamente in centro, ottima disponibilità e gentilezza dei dipendenti. Unica nota "negativa" ma anche molto "personale": la moquette in camera. Io non la apprezzo molto, ma vabbè, mi adatto, non mi lamento. Camera che in generale non era nuovissima... Arredamenti un po' antiquati, ma decisamente comfortevole e accogliente. Sala colazioni e servizio colazione ottimo. Personale gentile ed educato. Veramente complimenti! Un buon hotel! Niente di straordinario, niente di eccellente, ma un buonissimo Hotel dove soggiornare per lavoro, vacanza o altro.

A short walk from the bus/train station, really close to pubs and restaurants, the staff are helpful and friendly, my apartment was clean and stylish, dispite overlooking a busy road the room was quiet and offered great views over the docks,I will be using the Douglas Hotel again for future stays in Aberdeen.

Excellent hotel. The receptionist must have been having a bad day. Not overly friendly but I have high standards. I would recommend staying here as its clean and very central

Stayed in a family room with two friends for a night out in the city. Location of hotel was ideal , 5 min walk from the train station. The room was spotless and the staff were all very nice and accommodating. Will definitely be back , thanks for a lovely stay

Very central but old, noisy hotel. Bed and pillows hard, internet kept dropping out, dirty mug in room on arrival and no great range of extras. Basic room with iron.

Kids booked us a room for husbands birthday. When we got to the room, it was unsuitable due to disability. The room was changed with no problems, decided to stay another night, got a fantastic deal with an upgrade to a fully accessible room. Staff were amazing and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble.

We came in after check in time, but called ahead to notify reception. The room was very clean snd spacious, bathroom as well. Staff very friendly. The hotel is close to the centre, train station snd ferry terminal. Good value for money, would come back again.

Awfuk experience. Travelling with my 12 years old daughter we were given a double room which appeared to be just decent. At around midninght we discovered we had a leak. After complaining in reception, we were offered 2 single rooms, not viable due to my daughter is inly 12 and we had no need to sleep separately. The other option was moving to another building 10 mins away from the hotel. Not viable either due to the weather’s conditions. Finally we wre given a bucket. A BUCKET! The morning after I asked for a complaint form and they refused to give me any. I’ll just put the issue into my lawyer’s.

Visited 02 July. Our room had two twin beds. There was an upholstery button in the middle of my mattress that aligned perfectly with one of my ribs. I had to sleep around it to avoid a sharp pain and awakening. Other than that, the mattress top was generally thin and uncomfortable. In fact, this was probably the worst mattress I ever had the displeasure of trying to sleep upon. DW said hers was worse than the one provided in her dorm room.

Hotel dla osób, którym zależy na poczuciu lokalnego klimatu, w odróżnieniu od hoteli sieciowych, które na całym świecie wyglądają tak samo. Bardzo sympatyczna obsługa, wygodne pokoje, dobre szkockie śniadania. Zaletą jest również położenie hotelu w pobliżu centrum miasta oraz przystanku autobusowego.

It was a good deal compared to other hotels in Scotland. There wasn't any specific that was wrong but the room was clearly in need of renovation with doors that couldn't open, holes inthe walls, worn out moquette. There was in principle no soundproofing either. The staff was kind and helpful and there is a car park reserved to the guests which was good. The breakfats was ok but nothing more. Worse, arriving with a lot of baggage, was the lift out of order. Positioned centrally in Aberdeen.

Excellent service. My only drawback was the lack of air-con + the feral seagulls carried on all night - certainly not the hotel’s fault, but it did make for a rough night’s sleep since we had to keep the windows open as it was quite warm. Great breakfast and great dinner at Molly’s.
